WELCOME TO TRADITIONAL WOODCRAFTS

I hope you will enjoy the following pages of my web site which show some of the work I produce. As far as possible I use traditional methods and incorporate traditional methods of joints. The woods I use are from trees which have grown in the north of Scotland. These are mainly trees that have been felled by the wind or from trees which have had to be felled because they have become a hazard in some way. For some commissions I have to use imported wood, this I keep to a minimum even though it is obtained from renewable sources.

I also run woodturning courses, mainly for beginners and intermediate woodturners.
